Linda has a Bachelor of Social Science degree from the University of Ottawa with a major in Criminology. She worked for a brief time as a probation officer in Toronto, Ontario. Realizing she wanted a different structure out of life, she returned to school attending Sutherland-Chan in Toronto to become a Registered Massage Therapist. Linda began an RMT practice in Toronto in 2000. After feeling frustrated that she was not solving any of her patient's real issues, she returned to school yet again to train as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner in Hamilton, Ontario at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and Holistic Health Sciences graduating in 2004.
Linda had a thriving Osteopathic Manual practice in Toronto and Dundas, Ontario for 16 years.
Linda is a member of the OBC (Osteopathy BC) since March 2021. Previously, she was a member in good standing with the OAO (Ontario Association of Osteopathy) until her move to British Columbia. She is currently an affiliate member of the OAO and the Institute of Classical Osteopathy, UK.
Linda has also completed the Foundation course from the Institute of Classical Osteopathy in 2015.
Her love of nature, the ocean, the temperate rain forest, hiking and beautiful British Columbia (specifically Vancouver Island) has brought her here to Nanaimo in 2020 to fulfill her lifelong dream of living on this island. Linda loves to travel especially when she can combine that with live music. She also enjoys trail running with her labradoodle as well as hiking, beach combing, and exploring all that nature has to offer with her two teenage boys.
~ I look forward to this new chapter in life and building a new practice here in Nanaimo, BC ~
